    Hi Folks,

My manager who is looking heavily into using parallels here at our college is curious whether or not it is being listed on the Microsoft Hardware Compatability List or HCL? I see it listed on the SUSE site, but I haven't had any luck locating any information for Microsoft.

This would go a long way to adding credibility to using Parallels on our new Intel based Macs which we now own several, about 60+. We will be adding an additional 100 more Intel based macs this year.

Also, I am looking for reports about using virtualization and the hypervisor technology in the work environment. Since this is all new stuff, we want to be on the cutting edge, but gathering the data is vital to our success. I would love to hear from those of you who are doing this and what data you have gathered and what reports you have assembled. I have downloaded some Gartmer reports on what they see as road blocks and trends.

Thanks for any advice you maybe to offer in this context.

    Mick
