microsoft office files in Win7 opening in i work

Hi all hope you can help

I have parallels 7 installed and windows 7 i have got microsoft office 2010 installed on windows 7 and have recently installed a software package which links to microsoft word and excel but every time i click on the links in the program it tries to open the files up in OSX numbers or pages but i would like to just use windows as windows any ideas?
