I would like to buy/use Parallels so that I can use Microsoft Excel Windows Version on my Mac. Does anyone have any experience with installing Office 365? I can only download the software and it will only let you download the Mac version to a Mac and Windows version to a Windows PC. Once I setup Parallels and install Windows will Office 365 recognize it as Windows and install the Windows version? I will have to buy Windows 10 and don't want to spend the $$ and then find out it won't work. Any information or insight is greatly appreciated. Jordan
Hi Cindy1, Parallels Desktop for Mac does not include Microsoft Windows. If you don't have a Windows installation disc or .iso disk image, you can purchase Windows on a DVD from many retail stores that sell software or online from retailers such as Amazon.com or the Microsoft Online Store and then simply download and install Office 365 application in virtual machine the same way you install it on Windows PC.
