Just a quick question, I have a Macbook core2duo 2ghz with 2gb of ram and a ( manually added ) 7200 rpm drive. Im looking into investing in HD DVD, and as such have targetted the recently released XBox 360 HD DVD drive as the prime contender for my disc reader. Due to MacOs's current lack of HD support I was wondering if XP Emulated under Parallels, with the appropriate HD DVD Drivers installed, would be able to make use of PowerDVD and the HD DVD Drive. I wasn't sure that the added protection for HD Material ( and Microsoft's efforts to protect memory address's from being read to prevent key leaking ) would stop the drive from working in Parallels. Has anyone had any experience with this setup, or are there any specific reasons why this wouldn't work? Any advice would be great, as i'd hate to invest and then be left with a useless accessory ( as I haven't got an XBox360 - being a developer I have little time for games ). Cheers all, Adam.
