Hi folks, today i tried to move my existing Windows 7 installation with Parallels Transport Agent and an external USB Drive into a VM with Parallels Desktop 6. The import worked fine, it integrated all my files from Windows into my Mac. But when it tries to start up the VM after the import, it can't progress further than step one of the VM configuration, and it displays an Error saying: "Trying to boot from SATA drive 1... No boot device is available, press Enter to continue." I'm searched like all of the web for a solution, but wasn't able to find one. Using Parallels Mounter on the Disk file mounts me 2 partitions perfectly, one with the secure Windows stuff in it, and the other actual data drive, which looks perfectly fine to me. So, please, does anybody know a solution? Cheerio, Stefan
No i fixed the booting issue by booting up a Win 7 recovery disk and fixing a crippled partition table. Boots up fine now, but not I have the issue, that my mouse and keyboard don't work in the VM. Ctrl + Alt does work and releases the pointer, but in the VM, nothing moves.
