Hello: I'm trying to migrate Windows XP to my MacBook Pro but I have 2 hard drives, one with 3 partitions. All the folders from the partitioned drive have already been copied over to my new laptop so I just need to migrate one hard drive (J) where Windows and my software are all installed. The problem is that when I migrate, it appears to want to migrate all the data on all my hard drives to my external drive. It won't let me choose. I don't have enough hard drive space on my laptop to accommodate all the data. Can I get around this?
Can you make the other hard drives or partitions unavailable to Parallels Transporter? Maybe by marking the partitions as hidden? Or by disconnecting the hard disk? Parallels Transporter used to have a source volumes list: http://download.parallels.net/doc/Parallels_Transporter_User_Guide.pdf The Parallels Desktop 6 Transporter mentions "specified volume(s)" but doesn't say how to specify them: http://download.parallels.com/desktop/v6/docs/en/Parallels_Transporter_Users_Guide.pdf It seems like a step backward just for the sake of simplification.
