    Hi guys & gals,

It seems that the documentation for parallels is incredibly poorly worded, so after searching it fruitlessly I've found myself here.

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate inside of a normal virtual machine in Parallels Desktop 8. (Build 8.0.18354 (Revision 823166; December 4, 2012) to be exact)

Presentation mode appears to be totally inaccessible, except when you actually plug in an external display.

What I have is a 27" iMac (iMac11,3) connected to an external 1080p LG television. I usually use VLC to play movies on the television, but a few times a week I need to mirror the virtualized windows on the external display.

The ideal solution for me is one in which I have Parallels in a separate Mac OS X space, in full screen, and Windows 7 is mirrored to the external display regardless of what I'm viewing on the iMac's display. I've gotten it to work this way ONCE before, and it was glorious, but I have since been unable to replicate it.

Is there any way to trigger this mode, apart from unplugging and replugging in the HDMI cable, which is inelegant and inconvenient?

    Thanks!
