Using Parallels 7 (770637) on a MacBook Pro running Lion 10.7.4, I have the following problem (sometimes!): I have a Win7 guest running in full-screen mode in one workspace. I swipe-switch to a different workspace to use a Mac app (Terminal or Thunderbird, for example). Typing in the Mac app window goes to that app, BUT Parallels somehow grabs the keystrokes and sends them to the Windows VM also. (I often find an email that I typed in Thunderbird, has also been typed into an MSWord doc I was editing in the VM.) This is especially inconvenient when I use control or command keys in the Mac app, and Windows (or a Windows app) interprets them to do something. In the old X Windows days, this would be called a cursor/keyboard grab problem. Not sure what it's called today, but would be delighted to find out how to make it stop! Thanks,
Add a me too I am having this very annoying issue as well. I was hoping to add to the discussion in hopes of giving a little bump. This did not happen to me in VMWare but it is a repeating issue in Parallels and it's quite the pain when having two virtual machines running beside OS X. Any advice would be great.
Same here Keyboard entry (including command-key presses) that I enter in a Mac OS windows are being passed to the current app in the Windows guest OS. Am also running Parallels in full screen. Seems to happen most commonly when resuming from sleep. Mac OS 10.7.4 Windows 7 Parallels Desktop for Mac 7.0.15098
