I posted a similar problem under the thread with Autocad about a week ago. I just install the software suggested from Software Update (on Feb 13) and then fixed permission and Verified the HD. Mostly routine after a software install. Upon the restart to the OS and then to Parallels, the taskbar was again no where to be found when using Coherence. As per last time, I deleted the plist for Parallels and then restarted Parallels. The task bar is present as expected.
I booted my MacBook Pro 2.16 Core Duo 2 GB ram running OSX 10.4.11, launched Parallels build 5584 selected view in Coherence mode (like I always do) and the Start/Task Bar goes to the bottom of the screen and then disappears? I tried rebooting both the Mac and Windows, reinstalling parallels tool and re-installing 5584 and still no Start/Task bar unless I use Single window or Full Screen mode. I deleted the plist prefs and re-started Parallels and still the task bar disappears after a few seconds when I switch to Coherence. I now noticed the Dock icon also changes to include the Start menu (see attached) when in Coherence with the task bar gone? Any thoughts?
