Using Lion, w/ a Win 7 Synergy server, no modifier keys make it to the VM, but they do make it to OSX, I'm typing this post using them, but when I switch to the VM, none of them make it, I've tried using the Optimize modifier keys for games option, as well as adding the devices.kbd.delay = 2000 to the Boot flags, neither seem to work.

If I use the physical keyboard on the MB pro, the modifier keys come across, just not on the Synergy controlled keyboard. Any ideas?

(Also just read another post about the mission control being mapped to control-arrow, so I went ahead and unmapped that, no help, same problem.)

    Found a workaround

Thanks to the wonderful support of the Parallels team (insert sarcasm here), I was able to figure it out. Basically, Synergy is jacked up right now and you need to downgrade to 1.3.6 for both the server and client.

I was running synergys version 1.5 on mac osx lion with a version 1.4.3 windows 7 x64 client. The issue was that all modifier keys(ctrl, alt, shift) presses on the client would stick to "alt". That means any consecutive key press would be "alt + <key>" until you leave the client screen and re-enter which essentially reset the keys.

It was pretty difficult to find a solution for this problem since google didn't come up with any real good results. But I found this thread and thankfully, the OP posted how he fixed his issue. All I did for my problem was to install 1.3.6 on the server, the OP suggested to install that version on the client also, but I find it unnecessary.

I just want to reply to this thread because it helped me and I hope it helped exposure to others in the future.
