I am trying to run Modo 601 using Parallels Desktop 7. So far my attempts prove to be futile and Modo crashes instantly a soon as I try to work with it. I seems to be an inherent problem of Parallel's openGL drivers that make Modo crash as soon as the viewports need to be redrawn, e.g. when switching to a different task specific viewport arrangement (tabs on the top row of modo).

Are there any workarounds to make this work? Would Parallels 8 be a solution for this kind of issue?

The guest OS is a bootcamp installation of Windows 7 x64.
I am using an iMac from 2011.
