Yep, I would like my money back too. This is not of merchantable quality. I am one of the people quoted in the article and have commented in several threads regarding this issue. Parallels, you are conning us!
In fact, I've now made an official request to get my money back through PayPal channels initially and Digital River who are collecting money on behalf of Parallels.
I already had one refund request denied. Unless they release another update soon, I will seek more methods for disputing the charge. No matter what happens, I will never buy anything from Parallels again.
Isn't it interesting... ... how quickly Parallels responds to a negative article in The Register, but has yet to even acknowledge that there is a problem on its website? Parallels, your PR efforts are misguided and they *will* backfire. You claim that "the main issue seems to be around performance degradations". Have you even read the comments on this forum? The majority of complaints are because the installation process simply does not work as advertised. PR advice: Stop spinning and address the problem.
