I'm running Parallels 7 on Mountain Lion. The only problem I have is that I can't allocate more than 4GB of RAM for my virtual machine. I run Win 7 (64-bit) and I am running out of RAM often enough - hence this post! When I asked for support (via email) I was told to use Access 2010 differently (which made no sense). Especially as I've discovered, today, that Oracle's Virtualbox allows me to allocate more than 4GB of RAM to my VM. I'm currently configuring Oracle's VB to see if I like using it. I would prefer to use Parallels (because I'm familiar with it), but failing that I will transition to Bootcamp (yuck!). Hopefully, Parallels will soon have a Desktop version for Mac that supports more that 4GB for the VM. I know that both Parallels and VMWare have "Workstation" products which support allocating more that 4GB RAM for VMs, but they only run on Windows and Linux host systems. How about it? Hopefully soon. Luke.
