Hello! After searching hard and finding nothing, I hope this community can help me. I m running a Windows 7 in Bootcamp and Parallels. It´s no Problem to mount my external HDD in Mac OSX or Windows. But i need just one of the 3 Partitions in mounted Windows. Is there a possibility to mount the partitions separately? My main-problem is, that I want to use an extra partition with games in Parallels AND bootcamp. The .hdd-files are not helping, because I found no possibility to mount them in bootcamp. The .vhd-files are working neither. I get an error, that the block-size of the physical HDD is wrong. So I want to have an extra (physical) partition I can mount in the VM but the other partitions are mounted in Mac. Is there a solution? Maybe is there an other virtual-disk format windows can use? Virtual box is helping neither, because i don't want to setup a new VM. Ephraim
Hi EphraimD, Please follow the steps given : 1. Start Parallels Desktop. Do not start your Virtual Machine or shut it down if it is running. 2. Go to your Virtual Machine's Configuration (http://kb.parallels.com/117287) > Click on Options > Click Sharing and select "All disks" in Share folders drop-down menu. Thanks, Manoj D
