I recently installed Windows 7 in Parallels on Snow Leopard on a Mac Pro

I have Win 7 and SL on the same disk, then I have 2 additional hard drives in the machine.

One is a Seagate 7200 rpm, the other is a Western Digital 10000 rpm Raptor.

When I go into the Parallels configuration I can assign the Seagate as a hard drive and it mounts as a drive natively in Win 7 (ie not as a network share as it would if I just shared the drive to Parallels)

But, the Parallels configuration will NOT let me do the same with the Western Digital drive. It doesn't even see it.

I am going to the Configuration -> Hardware -> add new hard drive -> type: Boot Camp Disk -> then it sees and lets me select the Seagate

The Western Digital is not listed at all

Both drives are formatted NTFS, both drives have MBR. Everything about them is EXACTLY the same, except one is a Western Digital 10000 rpm Raptor.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks!
