Running PD8 on Win8 on rMBP. The mouse seriously feels like it's 'floating' when I move it around the screen, and it's extremely distracting. Not seeing any issues in OS X, so it's definitely not the device itself.

    Hi,
thank you for feedback, we do appreciate it!
To investigate the issue we need some technical information, so could you please reproduce it, send us Problem Report as described in http://kb.parallels.com/en/9058 and give me an ID? Would be great also to have screen-video recorded to understand, what exactly is going on - could you please create one for us using http://www.screencast.com/ or any other screen-recording app?

    Thanks in advance,
    Hanna

Unfortunately, I can't quite repro it. It *seems* like it's when I disable 'Optimise Windows for Full Resolution' and control the DPI myself. I'm setting it at 200%, with the resolution at 2880. I haven't had to time to fully explore this, however.

Yup, turning off 'Optimize Windows for Resolution' option causes the floaty mouse behaviour... Reducing the DPI back to 100% stops this.

    koppah,

Have you selected large mouse pointer in Windows? Large pointer + 200% DPI will disable hardware pointer support, the pointer will remain visible in Windows even if you move the mouse out of PD. Is that what you're seeing?
