Suddenly, since yesterday for no apparent reason, my mouse behavior has become totally erratic. Is suddenly that I have TWO mouse pointers.

For the program I use I have to disable mouse synchronization in Parallels tools. (with which I am also having serious problems btw). After I do that, I now see two mice.

I see the Mac OS black mouse, and the Windows XP white mouse at the same time. The distance from each other varies as I move the mouse inside the program. When I move the Windows mouse around and click it, the Mac mouse will appear in random places on the screen. this also happens on the desktop

Also, when I execute certain commands that require the mouse in the program, like moving rotating or sizing objects, while pushing down one or two mouse buttons, the Windows mouse disappears from the screen momentarily, while the Mac mouse stays there. After the command has been executed, and I release the mouse button(s), the Windows reappears on the screen.

Of course, the windows mouse is the one that I use, but the Mac mouse will not go away, not even after shutting everything down and restarting.

What do I need to do, to make this go away?

I would like to add something.

When I enable Mouse synchronization again, (which is not an option, if I want to use trueSpace), the mouse continues to behave in a wrong way. Even though I now have one mouse, inside the VM, the pointer changes back and forth from a white Windows XP mouse to a black Mac OS mouse.

    Please try following steps:
    1. Reinstall Parallels Tools
    2. try to lower resolution
    3. Try to increase video memory to 64 mb on Parallels Desktop -<Virtual Machine name>-Edit-Virtual Machine - Video
