Running 12.0.2, OSX El Capitan and Windows 10 from a bootcamp partition Anytime I connect a monitor to my computer and I have parallels in fullscreen, I have to exit and re-enter fullscreen before I get any mouse input on the second screen. I am running in extended, not mirrored and not in presentation mode. I can move the mouse over the screen, but no clicks register. I can even drag a window from my main screen over to the second, but as soon as I release the mouse button I can no longer click on the second screen. Is this a known bug? I've done some searching but haven't found anything about this. It is very frustrating to exit/enter fullscreen every time I connect my monitor as I move around the office a lot and am constantly disconnecting and reconnecting it. Also, not a bug but it would be wonderful if my windows would re-populate the second monitor when it is reconnected.
Hi @SamuelW1 1.Make sure the virtual machine is in shut down state. 2.Open virtual machine configuration. 3.Switch to Hardware tab > Mouse & Keyboard > set Mouse to Optimize for games. 4.In Hardware tab switch to Boot Order > extend Advanced settings > in Boot flags box paste the following flag: devices.usb.mouse=0
Unfortunately this does not fix my issue. Running parallels in full screen, after disconnecting and reconnecting I still cannot get mouse input on the second display unless I exit and re-enter full screen.
Could someone at Parallels please look into this? I've started losing mouse input randomly now even when I'm not connected to an external monitor and it interrupts my workflow. It's seemingly random; all of a sudden when I click nothing happens and I have to exit fullscreen and re-enter it to get it to work again. I can still move the mouse when this happens and the keyboard still works fine. It's just clicking that stops working. I am on Parallels 12.1.2 now.
