Hi all I apologise in advance if this question has been asked before, but having searched these forums, I cannot find any previous posts that directly address my question. I currently use Parallels Desktop to run Windows Vista Business on my Mac at home. The Vista Virtual Machine files are located on an external (Firewire) hard drive. An upcoming job will require me to work on a client's computer (also a Mac with Parallels Desktop installed). It would be very helpful to me if I could have access to the files/application installed in Vista during this job. So, my question is, assuming both Macs are running the same version/build of Parallels, is there anything preventing me from simply bringing my Firewire hard drive to my client's location and running the Vista Virtual Machine I usually use at home through his copy of Parallels? We're both running Parallels 3.0, but I'm sure which build number my client has. If his build number is different to mine, can I expect problems? Is there anything else I need to watch out for? Unfortunately, I don't have access to another Intel Mac to test any of this out and there isn't enough time in advance of the job to do a 'dry run' on my client's computer, so any advice from anyone with previous experience of this situation would be much appreciated! Thanks in Advance Matt
