Moving a Virtual Machine to Another Account (From the Beginning)

Hello,
I was wondering if someone could provide a complete walkthrough on transferring a virtual machine from one account to another account. I've reviewed many different topics that involved moving files, but I still have a few questions.
On the new account, do you need to install Parallels software?
If some of the files you are transferring already exist on the new account after a Parallels install, do you overwrite those files with the ones beloning to the virtual machine that you want to transfer?

Got it all figured out, ended up removing all Parallels software and the VM, reinstalled, and everything seemed to work when it was moved. Thank you.
