My Windows XP installation has been working perfectly for months. I have not installed any new software since updating Parallels to 3.0 (currently build 4560), which has been working fine (updated around the end of July). Now all of the sudden, I cannot boot Windows. Even in Safe Mode, I get the error: Any clues as to how this happened or what I need to do? Is my Windows XP disk image toast?
Hello! Please try either to check the virtual disk for errors using the recovery console and the chkdsk command or repair Windows installation. Original bootable Windows CD is required to perform the above operations, Best regards, John
