I have 2 USB network adapters. I would like to assign them each to a VM, but I can't tell which is which because they both come up as "USB Gigabit Ethernet" under the "Type:" drop-down. Changing the service names in the OSX Network System Preferences does not fix this. Is there a way for me to name them in Parallels?

It appears the order may be the same as "ifconfig -u" except the virtual interfaces are moved to the end of the list.

Apparently, knowing the order does no good. It assigns all my VMs to second USB adapter even if I choose the first one. I even tried the following line with no change:

prlsrvctl net set 'USB Gigabit Ethernet (en4)' --name 'USB (en4)'
