Multiple .hds Files trippling hdd size

I now have 4 .hds files when I look at the package contents of the hdd file. This has moved my file size from 32GB to 4x that or over 120GB. Tried deleting the extra 3 files but then it would not start. So I put them back and it started again but back to 120GB.

How do I delete the 3 extra .hds files which you can see in the attached.
