Hello, im curious to know if i have third party synthesizer/vst software installed on my mac os, would i be able to use it in parallels with a DAW intsalled on the parallels side? i have Parallels 7 with windows 7 installed but i already installed the music software on the windows side... I've encountered a major problem today and need to reinstall the software because the file paths and files have been moved or deleted, basically gone and i cant find them. specifically I'm using a mac book to run Parallels with windows 7 to run Fl studio(DAW), i have Native Instrument Komplete 7 Synthesizer software/3rd party vst's installed on both sides Mac Os x/Parallels... ihave to uninstall then reinstall Komplete on the parallels side. i really don't want to do this because the software comes on about 10 cd's and took me (NOT JOKING) 9 hours to complete installation while baby sitting the computer to put in the next cd after the next. I should have asked this question months ago but i didn't. But if i can just use the files already loaded in the mac os x side i figured i could free up the 90gb's of files that to me now seem very unnecessary.
Im having a problem where I can't run any vsts in parallels for mac. windows 8 pro. its really bugging me because i have native instruments komplete 5
