Please help. I have a computer here with a fresh install of Windows XP Pro. I am trying to use Windows Update after installing IE7 but am now consistently getting a crash anytime it tries to load the Windows Update plugin muweb.dll.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

    Hello Nocturnal,

This problem does not seem to be directly related to Parallels Desktop. It can occur in Windows Primary OS as well.

    Try the following:

    1. Open Tools menu ->Internet Options in the IE7 window (or "Start" menu - "Control Panel" - "Internet options" tab in Windows).
    2. Open Security tab and click Custom Level button, and in this list disable "Active scripting".

    Best regards,
    Xenos
