My activation key is not working

    Hi
    Please help me.
    I have a parallel activation key for version 8 and I bought upgrade for version 10
    after installation it asks me to put activation key for 10 and gave me green tick. and then ask me for previous version activation and i put my 8 version but it doesn't work and gave me red x . what should i do.
