I was away for a week and everything was working perfectly before I left. I had shut down my Mac during the week.

Now that I'm back... I'm getting internet access on my Mac ... but the VM says I am not connected to the Internet. Running the "Diagnose Connection Problems" doesn't fix anything.

I tried reinstalling Parallels Tools. That did nothing.

What's the quick-and-easy adjustment I can make so that my VM can use my Mac's internet connection?

    thanks.

OK, here was the solution that worked. Choose the "Devices menu". Drag down to "Network Adapter 1". Choose "Default Adapter."
