My VM no longer pauses when inactive

    Hello, I installed Parallels 6 yesterday and noticed that my Windows XP VM no longer pauses when inactive with no applications running. This used to work fine under Parallels 5. There has been no change to the guest OS. I noticed that I am able to enable VM pause ONLY IF I also enable application sharing. However, I am NOT interested in application sharing; it was turned off in Parallels 5 as well, but the VM used to pause just fine.

    I also believe you SHOULD have the option to let the VM go to pause mode wether there are running applications on the Guest OS or not, that is no matter what guest OS is running (as opposed to pause being supported only under windows guest OS at the time being). Add an option so as when Parallels is hidden for example, you could enable VM pause. Wouldn't be that hard...
