    Hi,

    I've got a Snow Leopard 10.6.1 running Parallels Desktop 4.0.3846 / Windows XP SP3.
    Last night Windows Update applied some patch and since then Windows keeps me bombing with "Registry recovery" and "ShellIntHook.dll" messages, see below. Have you ever met anything like this? Shall I create a ticket of it at Parallels?

    Thanks in advance, and here got the update and the error messages from System Events log:

    2009.10.09. 10:46:13
    Application popup: prl_cc.exe - Bad Image : The application or DLL C:\Program Files\Parallels\Parallels Tools\ShellIntHook.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

    I have been working on the same problem for some hours now.
    It causes changes to randomly occur to the desktop configuration.
    I have not been able to cure it.
    I am running 10.6.1 and 4.0.3848

    Xp -> 7

    I couldn't find it out either, so I removed XP and installed a 7 instead :)
