Markus, excuse the question. We never used the DualShield integration, but by the key facts we thought DualShield authentication is already natively integrated into the core of 2X software when it comes to providing strong two-factor authentication to the 2X products. Did we catched s.th. wrong here? Thanks,
Hi Holger, 2X supports the "Deepnet Unified Authentication Platform", which is a old Product from Deepnet Security. The current version, "Deepnet DualShield" is NOT YET supported by 2X Application Server. A Quote from the Deepnet website: "DualShield is the new generation of the Deepnet Unified Authentication Platform. For 2X intergration, please download & install the Deepnet Unified Authentication Platform." Greetings from Bavaria Markus
Markus, thanks for your note and explaination. I just found a former statement from 2X Software that they will support DualShild in version 11 of AS XG. I also double checked the changelog, but wasn't able to find anything about DualShield so far. I just wondering about the deepnet statement under the link http://www.deepnetsecurity.com/solutions/2x/ However, sorry for the confusion. Looks like it's time for an updated information from the 2X development. Thanks again,
Dual Shield will be supported via Radius configuration. This will also mean 2nd Level authentication support for any other Radius enabled provider. cheers
