I am having the issue where Parallels 11 can no longer see my Windows 8.1 bootcamp partition. I searched this support site, and I see that there is a fix in version 13, but I own version 11. I used to own version 9, but the Parallels adds convinced me that 11 was going to be much better, and so I threw out 9 and paid nearly full price again for Parallels 11, and there was little or no noticeable difference. I'm not going to throw out 11 and buy the software a third time. I tried to create a support ticket, but after typing in a bunch of stuff I got a message saying that my support code was wrong, and I couldn't get past that. I used the support code from my installed version of Parallels, so I'm exasperated. Please help.
Hi @Rant66, have you tried remove and readd the Bootcamp based Windows virtual machine using Parallels Desktop? Also, could you please go to Help menu of Parallels Desktop application and send us the technical data report via Send Technical Data... menu item? Then, post the number here.
Hi Arun. Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. I did update to High Sierra a couple of weeks back, and so based on my web research, this is probably what caused the issue. I had no idea when I upgraded to HS that I would break stuff. Also, just FYI, I can access the BootCamp partition from Finder within the Mac OS. Regards
