Need for Speed Shift Demo on winXP VM not working

    I just downloaded and installed the Need for Speed Shift Demo on my Windows XP SP3 VM.

    It errors out whenever I try to open it. Am I missing something or is the game just not supported yet?

    I have Parallels Desktop 4.0 for Mac, Build 4.0.3844, and Leopard 10.5.8.

    Can't install Need for Speed shift on parallels

    Same issue for me, using Parallels 4.0.3846 with a macbook pro (mid 2009) 3,06Ghz on Snow Leopard.
    When I start the game, I get a black screen following by the error "could not start the emulator".

    Any idea?
