    HotSync a Palm Via USB

I am trying to HotSync a Palm Treo 700p (Palm OS version) in Windows XP. There is not much in the forums about how to do this. I have purchased Parallels and need to get this to work.

    Thanks for your help!

    Chris :)

    Update

I figured out a two step process to HotSync a Palm via USB in WinXP.

(On PC) HotSync: select "Local USB" in system tray
    (On Palm) HotSync: select "Cradle/Cable"

Make sure that Parallels is not in full screen mode.

Press the HotSync button on your USB cable or on the Palm.

Manually activate the Palm in the Parallels application menu:
Devices -> USB -> Palm Handheld

    The HotSync should now begin.

It has worked for me. For some reason, the Palm does not stay connected in Parallels but has to be reconnected once the HotSync has been started. I hope that this glitch will be fixed in a future update.

Has anyone found a permanent fix? Has this tip helped anyone?
