    Hello all,

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum (feel free to move), but I think it is. I have a 10.6.1 Macbook Pro, that triboots into XP SP3 and Ubuntu 9.02 (installed via Wubi installer). This set-up works fine for me, I don't have any problem trying to boot anything natively.

I'm running Parallels 4, and I have configured it to boot the boot camp partition. Both XP and Ubuntu can boot in the VM this way. My problem is with the networking. Originally, I installed the VM with all the defaults, including shared networking. I couldn't get this to work in either OS (although Ubuntu is what I'm primarily working with/concerned about). In Ubuntu, I have two nics listed: eth0 and a mysterious pan0 (unknown device). I switched to Bridged Networking with Airport enabled (my host connection default).

I'm thinking that this is probably some sort of stupid oversight on my part. What should I do?

    Thanks!
