Installed the trial version ( latest) on win xp sp3.
Installed new vm Win 7 ultimate - installed parallels tools ( gave me network drivers - see other post!)
Cloned the new vm after installing our base dev sw ( VS2008).
All working fine, can connect via network to our TFS server, internet etc.
Shut machine down - on reboot next day start vm up - reports network connection not connected - change from bridged to host - same problem - was reporting my 2 network cards and default - - then network cards fall of the list! Only default. Then networking falls of the config list all together.
Then notice no network on main machine - network card properties show no ip address etc. Try repair etc. but fails.
Try to disable the two parallels ethernet devices, Can disable shared networking - but Host only just locks up.
Tried un installing Parallels - uninstall locks up and fails.
Tried a reinstall on top of existing - reports instance already installed and tries to uninstall - then continues to install - install locks up.
I am now stuck with no networking at all main or VM and now parallels is partially installed - cannot uninstall --- how do I get round this - network cards are Realtec RLT8168C
There is no firewall enabled on the machine.

I guess the problem is the Parallels adapters - how can I remove/disable them - so I can un-install and get my network working again.
Is this a known problem - if so is there a fix for it? It would be really useful to be able to use the Parallesl VM's as they support USB - which is a key feature we need in our test setups.
