I am a Network Manager. I downloaded a trial of Parallels 5 for Mac to start testing for a couple users that wanted to switch to a Mac here at work. I use a Mac, but not Windows, so I do not use Parallels.
    On to the main issue:
When the user takes her MacBook Pro home, it works fine until she starts up Parallels. Once the virtual machine is on, it starts trying to connect to the server at work (ie., \\192.168.x.x) and takes about 5-10 minutes to timeout. She cannot do anything while this is happening. I have had her try suspending the virtual machine and resuming at home. I have had her completely shut down the virtual machine and start it back up at home. No luck. I cannot figure out what is trying to connect to the server. The network drives are all connected by a login script on the server at work, so there is no local batch file trying to do this. I had another Mac user install Parallels and try this on their MacBook and it is doing the exact same thing.

Any ideas or anyone else with this issue? Thanks in advance!
