What should appear in the Mac System Preferences Network panel? I have "Parallels Host-Guest" and "Parallels NAT" configurations but the TCP/IP panels, using DHCP, are empty.

    What should they show?

MacPro C2D. New installation of the recent beta with XP (first install). Mac is using Airport to connect to 1. a public network or 2. a WEP passworded private network. XP is not connecting to the internet at all. I've tried Shared and Bridged. Any general advice?

in parallels it doen's bind the network from your mac. if you watch your router, you will two IP showing. and I even noticed that IP changes. I haven't really play on reserving the IP on my router but parallels network in mac network perference is tied in to prallels it self and creating to totally different mac address to get the IP I think...
