I was wondering if anyone else has run into this, and whether there is any solution. On the host machine (Mac OS 10.6.8), I connect to a Windows Server 2003 network share via smb. I'm able to navigate, and manipulate files just fine. However, when launching Parallels (v6), the connection to these shares is dropped. I can usually reconnect to these shares, but the connection is spotty at best, and is subject to more disconnects. On rare occasions, I am unable to even reconnect, receiving error messages like "There was an error connecting to the server, check the server name or IP address and try again". I have done some google searches on this, but haven't found any useful information yet. Is this expected behavior from Parallels? I've confirmed that this also happens on a different iMac running Parallels v5.
