I have Parallels Desktop 3.0, build 5584, running on a MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 10.4.11. I have three virtual machines, all of which were imported from Virtual PC. All of them have been working with "Bridged Ethernet" networking, and I haven't had too many problems with this, but now none of them are able to connect to the Internet. (My Mac is connected.)

Shared Networking has never worked. I had always assumed that this had something to do with the VMs being imported from VPC. It has always annoyed me, but since "Bridged Ethernet" was working, I didn't worry too much about it.

Reading some of the other threads, I noticed that there should be a Network Port Configuration called "Parallels NAT" and another called "Parallels Host-Guest." I don't have either one of these. I have my regular interfaces (Bluetooth, Built-in Ethernet, Airport, Built-in FireWire) and then seven, yes, seven, Network Port Configurations called "Ethernet Adaptor ((null))" It seems like Parallels likes to keep adding these.

Someone mentioned adding two new port configurations by selecting "Ethernet Adaptor (en2)" and "Ethernet Adaptor (en3)" and renaming them "Parallels NAT" and "Parallels Host-Guest," respectively. Neither of these (en2 or en3) is available as a network adaptor. All I have, in addition to the usual one, is "Ethernet Adaptor ((null))."

    How can I fix this?
