Networking under Mac OSX Server

    I have installed ubuntu server 8.10 on Parallels 4. The host is OSX server 10.5.6 with bridged network an fix IP on guest. After less than a minute the network disconnects and than there is no chance to connect the VM from outside. If I do a ping from inside the VM to an internethost the network will work again for a liddle time and than disconnect. What can I do for a permanent network connection?

    On OSX client 10.5.6 it works without that network problem.
