When I purchased my MBPro & iMac last year I had Parallels Desktop 10 and Windows 7 installed on the iMac but only got a Parallels 10 disc for the MBPro to install later. I've since upgraded to Parallels 11 and Win 10 on the iMac. Now I want to purchase Win 10 Pro, install & upgrade Parallels 10 to 11 and install Win 10 Pro on the MacBook. Does it matter if I install a OEM version? Or do I have to purchase a full retail version? The one I'm planning to order is Windows 10 Pro, OEM on a disc. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi, you may install Windows OEM copy in Parallels Desktop, however, the support is limited and you may need to contact system builder. We would recommend you to purchase a retail copy of Windows from Microsoft store or an authorized reseller.

Thank you, Paul. Does it matter if it is Home or Pro edition? Pro is on the iMac. Is there any reason for both to be the same? Neither machine is used for business purposes and I only run 3 Windows programs on each machine with not many data files. I cannot see a reason why I would need to remotely access the MacBook Pro. Obviously I now wish I'd had it all installed when I purchased the machine!
