    HI,

I had a mac in the past and was running parallels 7 (Upgraded from 3 onward),
My old mac crashed and I did not get a new one. I used "PC" for some time( about 2 years).
I now have a new iMac and want to start using parallels again. My question is can I install my old parallels and upgrade to the lated version?

    Thanks

    Hi Charles Harmon,
An upgrade to Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac is supported from the following versions only:
    • Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac
    • Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac Upgrade
    • Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac
    • Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac Upgrade
If your previous version is Parallels Desktop 7 or earlier, you should buy a full license of Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac.
