So, this is probably an unoriginal question, but i've looked everywhere on the internet and browsed some of this forum to no avail, so here are my few questions: A) After a virtual machine has been built (say, it's Windows Server 2008), is it possible to "deregister" the serial key? That way, I could use my existing license and build a deployable product (I have a specific vertical market in mind), and once everything is set up "just right", I could pull my license key from the image? That way, a client could purchase my pre-built VM, buy their own deployable copy of Windows 2008, plug in their serial number, and go. (There are a few other products that would be in this build, but all of those have easily removable license files, so I can configure those and remove the license so that they must buy their own to continue). B) Is a Parallels 7 VM for Mac perfectly compatible with Parallels 4 for Windows and Linux, and vice versa? C) I see Parallels Server for Mac Mini has a two OS at a time limitation. My simple Paralles 7 Desktop doesn't seem to have that issue that I'm aware of. For a deployment of 3 Virtual machines, is Parallels Server an absolute necessity, or will the desktop version suffice (license wise, for starters, as performance will obviously vary among the machines themselves). D) And further down that road, what are the discernible differences between parallels desktop, server, and bare metal? Sorry, if these are dumb questions, but again, I assure you i've looked quite a bit (over the last weekend, albeit) and can't really see a reason why I would want to choose one of the more expensive parallels platforms if everything else is equal (and obviously everything else isn't equal or there wouldn't be different platforms) I guess question A is the most immediate question at hand, but B is probably a yes or no answer, C and D might be the same set of answers. Thank you (from a very happy new user!)
