I'm running a Mac Pro 2.66 tower and I have the most recent build installed, but I'm not sure if everything is installed properly because when I follow the instructions and go to change cd/dvd device to default , all of the options are grayed out. So I've tried just going ahead with the setup and I can set my vm up but when I try to run it it fails to recognize the cd and says "non system disk error". I tried making an iso image, but here is the new twist - when I click the green arrow to run the vm, it says something like "your system has been reset" and I notice that the iso is no longer associated with the cd drive once it attempts to run and fails and I can click the little cd icon below and try to connect the image. after connecting the image, there is no change and the whole thing fails without even trying the cd drive again (it just instantaneously repeats the failed attempts script on the boot screen). I'm saving the vm the way I want it before running the vm. I'm not sure why it would disconnect the image before attempting to run the install. Any ideas?
I'm having the same problem with a brand new MacBook. I think I have the newest version of parallels installed but also am unsure. Please help!
