Hello I have just purchased a new iMac running High Sierra 10.13.5 I need ti be able to use a Computer Assisted Translation Tool, which needs to run on Windows. I have installed Parallels Windows for Mac. I can see its icon in the Dock, and on my Desktop I can see a Windows 10 icon, but if I click on either of them, I see this error message: I have searched the support resources, but find I'm baffled by the jargon. Can anyone tell me in simple terms what I need to do? I would be extremely grateful. Ann
Hi AnnS1. If you have not created any Windows virtual machine earlier on this Mac, please follow the below steps to create a new Windows 10 virtual machine using Parallels Desktop for Mac. 1. Download Windows 10 ISO file. 2. Refer this article and follow from 'step 3' to create a new virtual machine using the downloaded ISO file. Proceed with the on-screen instructions and complete the installation. Note: You need to purchase the Windows 10 product key separately and please choose the correct version of Windows 10 (Home or Pro) during the installation.
