No Input Allowed After PD3 -> PD4 Upgrade

I installed Parallels 4 and after running the backup and convert, windows refuses to take any input after phase 1 of the parallels tools install. It shows me the login screen (I am on a domain so it tells me to push CTR ALT DEL to login), but when I press the buttons or attempt to "Send Keys," there is no response whatsoever. The machine is running because after a few minutes, the screen saver comes on, but I can not get the screen saver to go away without restarting.

Any suggestions?

 

Reboot VM in safe mode and try to delete keyboard and mouse from Device manager
