I have XP Pro installed in Boot Camp and access it from Parallels. I have mapped a folder (D Drive) as D:\ in XP to simulate having a C: and D: drive like I do on my desktop. If I boot to XP in Boot Camp my D:\ is mounted and I can see it. In Parallels however, the D:\ drive is there, but empty. It's as if I can't see any mapped drives.

I'm running this on a MacBook Pro. Any help is appreciated.

    Hello Htmanning,

what folder are you mapping as D drive?

Just a folder called D Drive. I'm used to having 2 drives in Windows so I mapped the folder. It works when booting in Boot Camp, but not in Parallels.

Also, the share that Boot Camp puts on the desktop doesn't work in Parallels.

Htmanning, you should convert your VM .pvs file to Custom Boot Camp file to get access to your D Drive. If you attach the .pvs file to your next post, a Parallels engineer will do this for you.

    Best regards,
