I now have no sound when running my virtual machine. On top of that I also have the "Unable to connect Hard Disk 1", error and have to switch my Hard Disk 1 settings to Image File then back to BootCamp to be able to bootup my VM. I also have to reinstall paralles tools each time I do this and now windows wants me to re-register. Nice update... NOT

    VM machine config:
Sound enabled, connected (tried various combinations of this)
    Output: Default
    Input: Default
Tried built in as well, no change. Tried unplugging my speakers and just using the built in iMac speakers, same issue

Sound works in Mac OS when I click out of Parralles to the Mac desktop. Speakers are not muted.

    iMac 3.06 GHz
    4GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForece 8800 GS, 512 MB
    OS X 10.5.5
    Using my bootcamp partition

I did test a couple of games and noticed quite a performance boost. So I am slightly encouraged.

Thank you, migsdig, your advise helped me as well.

And the guys from Paralles simply ignored my request for support. But what I also mention playing with4.0
    - 40-70% slower then 3.0
    - Coherence mode has strange behavior, like windows of Windows are bigger then my screen and not resizable...

So - what we paid for? Parallels 3.0 were much better...
