My Ubuntu VM was installed using the Minimal CD, and I'm using LightDM and i3.

After mounting the Parallels Tools disk, this is what I get when trying to install Parallels Tools:

    Parallels Picture.png

The log file at /var/log/parallels-tools-install.log doesn't show empty (just that the installer exited with code 0).

Is there some dependency I'm missing?

My XOrg version is 1.15.1, kernel is version 3.13.0-27.

Okay, I got this fixed. I had to install it responding "yes" to the above question, and then manually extract the tools from the ISO and then run:

    Code:
    sudo ./installer/install-tools.sh -i ./tools/prltools.x64 /var/lib/parallels-tools/.backup
with ./tools/prltools.x64 being the folder that I extracted the tools archive to (which is located in the tools folder on the ISO).
