have an activation problem which no one seems to want to solve. I sent my query to Element 5 (who pointed out that they cannot solve my problem as it is not within their realm) as well as to parallels support centre (no answer). I purchased the Paralles 5 upgrade from the Paralles website for Euro 39.99. I have two registered products on my account version 2.5 and version 5. Prior to purchasing the upgrage version of Parallels 5 For Mac on 5th Jan 2010, I was already in possession of permanent licence for Parallels version 2.5 for Mac which I purchased a couple of years ago. I wanted to install version 5 on my Snow Leopard Mac without doing the upgrade so I knew that I had to input the two activation codes, one for version 5 (the one you quoted and which I had no problem with ) which was accepted by the product and one for the permanent activation code for the previous version i.e. version 2.5. Unfortunately for me when the product asked me to input the previous version code ,the product rejected the code for version 2.5. Have I purchased the wrong upgrade ? Should I have paid more? Can you please advice as to what I should do as I need to work on the product asap. Thanks
